Welcome to Sutton's first padel tennis club, a vibrant 4-court floodlit venue brought to you by Social Sports Society.

 

Residents Offer: Residents living within 1.5 km of the venue can enjoy a 20% local discount on court bookings. To claim your discount, please email sutton@socialsportssociety.com for more information.

Located beside the Cancer Hub in the Royal Marsden hospital grounds, our club offers convenient private car parking for players with bookings. We're just a 7-minute drive from Sutton town centre, and also easily accessible via the 280 bus from Sutton train station, making it simple for everyone to reach us.

Our Sutton padel tennis club offers a variety of group classes and private lessons led by our experienced in-house coaching team. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, there's something for everyone.

In addition to our coaching, we have pay-to-play court bookings available, and we're open from 08:00 to 22:00, seven days a week.

Rackets and balls are available to rent or purchase on-site. Please remember to bring ID if you wish to hire a racket.

Session descriptions

Intro to Padel (1 hour)

The perfect place to start your padel journey!

We’ll cover the rules, basic shots, tactics and positioning.

By the end, you’ll know all the basics and have confidence to continue learning, and play in open matches. All equipment, including racket and balls, will be provided.

Beginner Social (2 hours)

Want to play and brush up on your skills, while meeting fellow players at your level? 

You’ll play a series of mini-games a.k.a. ‘Americano’-style tournament, switching partners so you’ll get to meet everyone – no awkward approaches necessary!  The perfect place to play, and socialise in a friendly, engaging atmosphere, hosted by our helpful team, with a focus on the group aspect of play. 

Suitable for beginner-level players and above.

Intermediate Social (2 hours)

Want to play and brush up on your skills, while meeting others at your level? 

You’ll play a series of mini-games a.k.a. ‘Americano’-style tournament, switching partners so you’ll get to meet everyone – no awkward approaches necessary!  The perfect place to play, and socialise in a friendly, engaging atmosphere, hosted by our helpful team, with a focus on the group aspect of play. 

Suitable for intermediate-level players.

Advanced Social (2 hours)

Want to play and brush up on your skills, while meeting others at your level? 

You’ll play a series of mini-games (a.k.a. ‘Americano’-style tournament), switching partners so you get to meet everyone – no awkward approaches necessary!  The perfect place to play, and socialise in a friendly, engaging atmosphere, hosted by our helpful team, with a focus on the group aspect of play. 

Suitable for advanced players.

Levelling Session (1 hour)

Are you better than your Playtomic “level”? 

To help you play matches with players of a similar level, our coaches will assess your skills and amend your level appropriately.  Ready to test your level and rise up the Playtomic ranks?

(Don’t worry – we won’t move you down!)

Technical Session (1 hour)

Ready to get technical? These are coach-led learning sessions, each focusing on specific padel strokes and techniques (e.g. volleys, overheads, playing off the glass). 

Open to everyone: from beginners to through to advanced players. Work at your individual level, with coaching and guidance throughout.

Women's Session (2 hours)

A women-only session led by our coaches*.  

The first hour is training drills for specific strokes and techniques, with individual guidance and feedback. Followed by a series of short games involving all players.

* At this time, we cannot guarantee a female coach will run these sessions. If this is required, please contact us.

Family Social (2 hours)

A mixed-level session focusing on fun and bonding with your child, and other likeminded families. 

In pairs (adult and child) you’ll play several mini games against different pairs. Our team host the session and facilitate the game play.

Get Matched (1 hour)

Want to play with and against players of your level? 

Our coaches will match you with suitable opponents, so you’re not playing with someone at a much higher or lower level.  Sign up, and we’ll take care of the rest.
