I help shape our strategy, organisational growth and partnerships. My passions are sports and sustainability, and I work with colleagues and partners to ensure people and planet are top priorities in our decisions, actions and relationships. Previously, I was an independent advisor (pro-bono) on the Executive Board of BASIS (British Association for Sustainable Sport).
For the 12 years prior I was a Management Consultant, advising on and helping deliver complex change. This included various multi-organisation programmes and projects in children’s services, health, transport, retail, engineering and other sectors. I’ve also worked in social impact and sport in voluntary, start-up and corporate roles. My studies have included a Master’s in Mechanical Design Engineering; business; languages; and sustainability incl from Cambridge’s Institute of Sustainable Leadership.
Sports mad, I represented school, club and regional basketball teams from u12 to u18 – through discipline, hard work and luck won trophies at regional and national level. Through fitness rather than ability I scraped into the University of Miami Soccer squad, and several 11-a-side football teams in London, with wildly varying success and failures. The last 15 years I’ve focused on being bang average-to-awful at ball sports, surfing and yoga. I run, swim and cycle to keep fit / commute / recover from injuries.
