This is an exciting time to join Social Sports Society! We’re growing quickly with several sites about to start construction, and many others in the pipeline. We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our projects team.

This team leads the design, build and launch of our new multi-sports venues. This a busy time with many new projects and workstreams coming live.

We’re looking for someone that is organised, focused and attentive to detail, yet brings ideas and is a creative problem solver!

You will be involved in many projects and you will have the opportunity to experience the full lifecycle – from initial idea to site delivery and final handover to operations. It is an active role with time both in the office and on site with designers, contractors and suppliers.

We’re looking for a good allrounder… someone comfortable working with everyone involved in our projects, from the smallest supplier, to our landlords and their estate management partners. Much of your role will include speaking to suppliers, partners and wider stakeholders.

Many of these people will be new relationships for us as a company and new to you as you drive forward various aspects of the project. We’re therefore looking for a clear communicator who enjoys meeting new people and will represent the company well.

We’re especially looking for someone that is good with project management software and systems. You don’t need to be an advanced superuser, but we need someone that’s not afraid to get stuck into learning and using our project management systems well.

You will own the systems and information. People across multi-party workstreams will be relying on you for accurate, organised and accessible . Our main systems are Monday and MS365, but we are open to alternatives if there is a strong case.

You will be joining a team with a wealth of experience and this will be a great opportunity to learn, grow and take on additional responsibilities.

With strong skills in project and information management we hope you will have the ambition to become a core member of our projects team, and grow with the company as it grows.

Sound like you?

Check the desired skills and attributes below but remember, you DON’T need to tick all the boxes!
